Hellouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, smoke smoke smoke - what to say - lots of great new music on the way, get ready!!!!

Growing up - what can I say, just when you think your are, something happens to help you remember you are just a child. Are we going back in time or is time moving far ahead of us faster than we are? No - it is not Carrie Bradshaw speaking. You are not 'dejavu-ing'. I love the summer 'daze' and the summer nights; I remember ice cream with mom - now it is frozen soy-gurt with the girls. I remember the station wagon full of family and friends when you could hang out the window, shout at the passing cars and make faces from the back seat window....I miss the swing set in the back yard that would sort of lift off the grass when you swing real high; I miss the green padded rocking chair that always went over backwards when you tried to rock while standing up facing the wall, and most of all I miss just throwing myself down on the floor to scream. So - I say, celebrate with all your might, be kind to the cars passing you by, eat and drink in moderation, remember your elders and all children no matter who they belong to, scream and dance like no one is watching. And most of all, embrace life gracefully, kindly and joyfully!

Well - are we ready for summer, I know I am. Bring on those summer concerts and more festivals than you are able to shake a stick at, or shake a bootie at.....

Can you believe the line-up for the Santa Cruz Blues Festival, or the Snazzy shows that will warm us up if the weather takes too long! Oh boy, can't wait! Can't quite put my magic wand on what is up with the weather but I know I will be grateful for the haze at some point. I love the weather before the full on heat of summer and I love the weather when the spring fragrances stay long into the deep cuban blue of nightfall.........
